I didn’t have the heart to watch Jack Smith’s testimony today. I followed his investigation closely when it was ongoing, but cannot stomach hearing R’s try to demean, insult, and discredit him. However, my partner watched and told me that Smith didn’t back down and didn’t give an inch. He was clear, composed, and unflappable, and held to his convictions that trump is guilty as sin (with receipts to prove it). If we manage to get through this, I hope he runs for president.

@randahl 100%. Also I feel like he’s the ONLY one who could possibly repair our international relationships. He is the face of trying to bring trump to justice, and his ICC background speaks to his credibility and dedication to the rule of law world-wide. It’s probably a pipe dream, but I can’t think of anyone better.
