@Gina Lastly, I've sent such request / impluse to the European Parliament. It was just an email and is rather long to fit in here, but if you're interested, let me know how to pass it to you (I'm okay to make it pulblic).
@Gina By the way. The "recent Grok scandal" is a good "impulse", but not the main problem. Yes, it is gross, illegal, immoral etc. BUT:
The main problem is that these platforms systemically polarize the society, and monetize people's primal fears by selling hatred and "tribal instincts" to whoever pays (russian propaganda to the whole world, US nazis to US voters, European populists to confused uneducated voters, toxic feminism/masculinity creators to wo/men...)
*That* is what needs to stop.

@Gina "Build?" 馃 It's so frustrating when so few articles seem to be saying... just use the proven ethical alternatives that are already well established. As someone who works within the UK public sector, I can't exactly claim to be very surprised though. 馃槀 (Maybe I'm doing them a disservice... not sure if I can check as I don't have a Linked In account.)
