Considering #interactiveFiction from my limited experience of what I think of as thrash clickers (point and click adventure games where they say, "don't thrash" ie don't always just click on everything but think about the puzzle first, where in reality, I always end up thrashing), and the age-old choose-your-own-adventure books I read some of from my school library around 1990±.
I am probably fairly #typicallyNaive.

My insight is that I want the choice and interactivity to be not for its own sake, but part of the message. Part of the art. Like not just, fiction-but-interactive. Something the author has to say to me (the reader/player) feeling more like that kind of conversation where the artist guides you to those interesting thoughts that make you feel like you could hear them talking to you.
