The questions are basically "how do you want AI to be used" without providing a real option to say "none of the above I don't want AI to exist in Firefox"
@chillybot I think that's rather honest of them. They have no intention of backing off from AI. They'll ride that bomb all the way to the ground.

It's incredible how obtuse they are about their own user base, and what motivates someone to choose Firefox to begin with. Anyone who likes this crap is already perfectly happy using Chrome or Edge.
@mttaggart@infosec.exchange @chillybot@infosec.exchange @DaveMWilburn@infosec.exchange the thing is, this is their replacement for the revenue they lost due to the google antitrust lawsuit.
instead of a search/ad engine paying them, AI Companies will do so now.
@Xyla @chillybot @DaveMWilburn That's not entirely accurate, as the remedies for that case did not prevent sweetheart deals like the one Moz has with Google for default placement.
@DaveMWilburn @chillybot I have been following this for some time, and I think the answer is clearly that they don't think of Firefox as anything more than legacy debt, despite their language. Their investments are in AI because that's where donor money is. The user base is not the revenue source. Their corporations that chase VC are.

Thanks for this!
About the line "So of these organizations, 3 of them need to have flagship AI products by 2028."
It looks to me like that might be accidentally smushing together 2 different aims,
"All Mozilla orgs have a flagship AI product by 2028"
and
"3 Mozilla orgs have more than $25M in revenue (currently: 1)"
Or am I wrong?
@unchartedworlds MZLA is excluded from the requirement, I believe
@mttaggart
Fantastic read as always! I am still giggling over "Blavidia" xD
