I'm noticing a clear change in tone in Norwegian media when they write about the US now. Editors, columnists, researchers, and other experts are a lot more vocal with their criticism of the Trump regime. Turns out they've felt that way since the start, but Norwegian media can sometimes try way too hard to appear "balanced".
This long form article in our state media is a good example. Not sure how well it translates.
@veronica same in Denmark, which is less surprising I suppose. But the anger is noticeable even amongst formerly level headed people.
@CarstenBoll Yeah, no surprise about Denmark these days. But Norwegian officials are usually spineless cowards when it comes to the US.

@WizardOfDocs @CarstenBoll I mean, it's the nature of diplomacy. Trump doesn't do diplomacy, he's a bully, so actual diplomacy stands out.
I'm not really a diplomat by nature, so diplomacy often annoys me. Good thing they're never gonna give me such a job. 😅
