Every hacker needs a designated giver-of-names, on call, because you never know when you need to start a new project, and you can't `git init` without name.

@alexshendi No it doesn't, you still need a directory in which to do it... (and yes, I did have that exact problem with RCS a couple of times last century) @liw @onepict
