@neil @vkc slightly off topic: reading this, I'm eagerly waiting for the nextcloud post. I use it for photos as well (plus other things), but I'm annoyed by its slow speed on a pi 4, and the bugginess of the android app, which often forgets to upload a photo or 2, to the extent that I have a WebDAV app configured to check on it every night and fix issues up when needed. Immich is on the radar at some point, but I've taken to using NC memories and have albums I would need to migrate 😞

@neil oh great write-up! I'm also struggling with https over nginx, I have that on my to-do for sometime next week. I'd like to have that sorted well before I make a video about it later this year.
