@rolle I aged out of that entirely but sure miss my 2K, it usually got my mind off of things too.

@sebastianhahn Not for me. It has roughness in it. For some reason I never fall during winters and I love running on ice.

@robchapman Yes. We have 4 large lakes close by. At least two of those have running/walking/iceskating paths done like this.
@rolle that's fantastic, what a great idea. How long does the track last before the thaw?
@robchapman There are kilometers of that track, I just ran about 2km of it. After the made icy path the snowy covered path holds the whole lake.
@rolle when does it become no longer usable?
@robchapman Maybe in those areas where you see a lot of white and there are no longer paths available. Then it becomes difficult to run on. When it's freezing like now, there's no slush.
