Labels can complicate the migration away from Gmail, especially if the receiving service doesn't provide specific import tools. This post describes a way of handling such a case.

@amoroso Thanks, that is well timed!
My task for today is move all of my personal email that's currently hosted by Gmail to Protonmail. There's some good tips in there.

@amoroso I'm currently creating all of the mail filter rules, so that *hopefully* as the mail is imported it will get automatically filtered through to the right folders. Sadly, I use a lot of rules/folders, so this is taking a while!
