Edit - changed the pic because it looked like it had a weird filter on it and I wasn't looking at the camera properly and that bothered me enormously. X Elderly gentleman imbued with the spirit of a very stupid baby. I'm breaking out my Christmas pressie for the first time.... one of them little running vests that looks like a first responder has Hulked out, or it's shrunk in the wash. I'm leaning into it (well I'm going to have to to get it on - it is tiny), and it's just so practical. I'm solo this morning and want to take keys and phone and water, and it makes sense to have my own Bat-utility-vest, rather than clunking about with it in a belt. Also have one of dem silly lil running hats on that makes me look like my head is simultaneously too small and too big. I'm in a foresty area and just out of shot are about 800 other people. This is why I'm here. The goodwill is palpable and is seeping into me whether I like it or not. Like a cloud of positivity. I have the face of a kindly gnome king or a child who's been put under an ageing spell.
