Potato variety review: Currently eating my way through the 2025 potato harvest. I grew ‘Blackberry’ potatoes for the first time. Great yield of roundish, medium-sized tubers. These are the purplest potatoes I’ve ever used in the kitchen. Loaded with anthocyanins. Only OK roasted, since they are somewhat waxy. Quite nice boiled (tonight I seasoned with a harissa dressing). They have a strong potato flavor, especially when roasted. Recommend! #potatoes #cooking #gardening #PlantVariety
