Oh, but it is. Have held for a long time that Bluesky is a trap designed to lure progressives into a space where they can be silenced at a crucial moment in time.
Just as Elon took over Twitter/X are a critical moment in the lead up to the 2024 election, we face the same vulnerability now vis a vis the midterms with Bluesky.

But to your point that the moment to move on Bluesky will be when it can hurt democrats the most in the run up to the midterms, for sure. That would make sense
