There's a lot of focus on the physical benefits of cycling. But, do you also find cycling important to your mental health?

Be interested to hear people's thoughts.

From recent personal experience... I always knew it helped damp down anxiety & made me feel more positive. I perhaps didn't realise how significant the effect was until a recent 3 plus week hiatus.

For me a big part of it is just being outside, another part is making myself physically tired. Whatever the reasons I find cycling works particularly well compared to (say) running or walking.
