Holy mother of chicken nuggets!! Finished “The Troop” by Nick Cutter. It was so intense and horrific, I think I have a stomach knot that’ll take days to dissipate. If you like scaring yourself witless and raw, it’s an absolutely good read! But be warned, it’s full of gore and violence and psychopathy, experienced by teenage boys.
