The technology has me stumped, again. Self hosted Nextcloud server, up-dated and running. I can access as normal from my phone and Firefox mobile reports 'verified by letsencrypt'. I can SSH into the server from my desktop and access the AIO dashboard on the server via Firefox. BUT I can't use the web interface dashboard or the desktop sync app. Both report SSL error. Suggestions anyone? Online search isn't helping. #Nextcloud #AIO #SSL #Linux

@chewie
Trying via URL (ddns) I just get time out. Going direct with the LAN IP I get:
Error code: SSL_ERROR_INTERNAL_ERROR _ALERT

@pthane ddns may not work because your traffic is going out of your firewall and then trying to come back in again on your public ip.
You may have to use either a hosts file, or if you have selfhosted dns, add an entry that points to your internal IP instead (if you're NATing your server).

That ssl error isn't helpful at all, sorry, I'm not sure what to say about that :(
You could try using the openssl command to connect and see if that gives any more useful info
