I've started a new crochet project... using colour changing yarn... to create a tartan effect scarf... I'm not sure whether I've got the number of stitches correct yet... but I quite like the effect it's making... so I think I'll probably keep going...馃寛馃Ф

I can't believe that I put off starting this project for a year... because I was disappointed in how the ball of yarn looked... as I couldn't see a regular colour repeat... but I really should have trusted my choice... the colour changes too frequently for the ball to have regular stripes...
Oh my goodness... the diamond pattern is actually starting to appear... but accidentally adding an extra stitch... or forgetting a chain... messes up the pattern... my crochet would be much bigger if I hadn't frogged and redone 10 rows today...馃寛馃Ф

I'm trying to complete my tartan #crochet cushion... I had forgotten how difficult it is... to crochet across the final side of a cushion with stuffing...馃寛馃Ф
