#Threema, headquartered in Switzerland, has been bought by Comitis Capital, headquartered in Germany. At least is stays in Europe and is now owned by a company that falls under EU jurisdiction. We will see how they position themselves. They could become a strong supporter of secure communication. Or the opposite. Time will tell.
