@syndicate how exactly is this more sovereign? I agree there are some things about Nostr that are interesting, but can I listen to this music outside of the Nostria app yet? is there an ecosystem of apps that support listening to and interacting with these media files that don't require touching Nostria? seems that this app is is made by a crypto libertarian vibe coder, which seems pretty consistant with the whole nostr ecosystem...
1. Fediverse isn't sovereign at all, so the comparison is pretty easy.
2. and 3. You can listen via m3u file. Or query the relays for the kind with a cli tool and retrieve the metadata
There are currently 4 clients:
https://nostria.app
https://nodecast.xyz
https://sunami.app
https://zaptrax.app/
4. Dental care was created by nazi scumbags experimenting on ethnic "minorities". Only you can decide how to draw the lines of guilt by association.
@syndicate
1. I guess we need to define what we mean by sovereign, I would like to understand what exactly is being compared. I personally think one of the biggest sovereignty issues with the fediverse is how tied it is to DNS.
2. glad to see there are a bunch of client apps here, that makes this way more interesting. I hadn't seen anything about people building music apps on the nostr ecosystem yet so glad to look into these. How do you get the m3u file link for your music there?
3. :(
@syndicate its interesting to load your profile across three apps
