In fact I associate cordyceps with ‘exams’ because many Chinese kids had to drink a bitter cordyceps and ginseng essence every morning we had exams
Honestly it tastes pretty good, I just never knew what it was. The clue was in the name I guess ‘insect grass’

I don’t think this is a ‘our food is weird’ thing as much as it is a ‘don’t you think it’s weird that other people think so much food is weird?’ thing and also a ‘so many artificial limitations in what breakfast and dessert can be’
@skinnylatte Don't worry. Most of the world has a healthy approach to food. Only certain countries are weird with it, especially the English speaking ones.
