Google, Meta, and Amazon are among the top companies tracking you across the web. By automatically blocking their trackers, Privacy Badger makes it harder for Big Tech companies to profit from your personal information. https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2025/03/online-tracking-out-control-privacy-badger-can-help-you-fight-back

Online Tracking is Out of Control—Privacy Badger Can Help You Fight Back

Every time you browse the web, you're being tracked. That’s why EFF created Privacy Badger, a free, open source browser extension used by millions to fight corporate surveillance and take back control of their data.

@eff used to like this plugin but it hasn’t been updated in a while. Doesn’t support current browser versions, and ublock origin does a lot of the same and is supported. If you want people to use it: maintain it.

@eff cover your tracks shows there are still many identifying "bits" and this on top of ublock could help identify you. but it better than rawdogging unhardened chromium or firefox.

@eff not only do they track you across the various sites but also through various apps. Best to put all such apps on a second account. Alternatively, the #DuckDuckGo browser for mobile has a set of protections to deal with the pesky trackers.

So, because my browser is unsupported my option is to install one that is, such as Chrome or Edge? Thanks a lot. Why do you think I avoid those browsers in the first place?
