Dunking on people and companies is more popular than saying anything positive, but, #mozilla with #firefox created the web as we have it today.
Without them, without Gecko, we might be trying to run Internet Explorer 6.1 service pack 15.
Y'all don't remember how broken the web was with ie6 as the only viable browser. ActiveX, VBscript. Transparent PNGs were <object>s!
Nothing worked outside of ie6.
Give them the benefit of the doubt. They want an open and usable web.

@VincentTunru @hp Miscommunication covers a lot of sins. Why not just learn about what happened and get a perspective, rather than leaving it to the fog of "misunderstanding"?
Clearly, not everyone was okay with it, and it is very obvious that Mozilla is using stolen labor to replace volunteer contributions.
No issue there, even if contributors were fine with it? Doesn't it reflect on how they see contributors?
Seems clear to me that they don't respect y'all.
@yoasif @hp I learned about it back when it happened. Again, I don't have the details now, but my takeaway was that I wasn't worried. I think it had something to do with missed emails or something, and there were only automated translations for articles that didn't exist or were outdated or something? Other contributors did not feel slighted, which is a good sign.
(Which is not to say that I don't think Mozilla couldn't do better by contributors, of course.)
