Looks like we're jammed into Santa Ana wind mode. Thankfully, we had been jammed in "high rainfall" mode so this is a wind without catastrophic wildfire period (for now). Feel like the jet stream has a bit of a kink in it.

Probably just me, but it feels like the rapidly morphing planet in the Search for Spock (often) nowadays... (spoiler: the planet there was just created, but it is unstable and rapidly changing and on fire and then eventually the whole dang thing self destructs) #startrek
