whoot! 9/10 containers successfully migrated. this last one keep trying to consume 100% cpu and never actually boots. my PVE7 cluster is now idle and ready to have PVE9 installed. Then I get to do all of this again...

this doesn't include the ~15 other containers that got migrated a few weeks ago, but those where the non-critical ones.
At some point I want to write a blog post about my #selfhosting setup. This isn't a just a ' #homelab', I have at least a dozen services that are accessible from the greater web. The post could be something like, 'how to self-host everything for $100 + $5/month'
@morgan @selfhosting I'd be very interested about this topic; now I'm running a vps on hostinger provider. At home I have ftth connection, through a router. Tell me more!
@elettrona I was also running things directly on a VPS for years, but those cheap ones (and I am VERY cheap) just fall over with any significant load
@morgan Let me know if you have written something interesting. Now I am just playing, experimenting, I've got a couple interesting apps I'm playing with. Lemmy and WriteFreely. And of course WordPress. And castopod for audio. My key feature is federation, interaction, accessibility and data portability. Including the idea of writing in #markdown and having the post published when I decide to. I guess you have something like a raspberry pi installed at home
