@Arta My grandparents were WWII refugees from Latvia. I can also fully understand the language because it’s all they spoke around me growing up (though I would always reply in English). Their stories are close to my heart and they always told me that they want them told to the world.

@Arta I think it’s a lovely language though! I’m slowly learning to speak it now but there aren’t many resources out there

This is like secret language in so many parts of the World! May speak freely and noone understands.
@Arta I can understand it fully! It’s so funny you say that because I live in the U.S. and my mom will speak Latvian to me in public because no one will understand it if they overhear 😂
