Something I am wondering about with Unstream is whether it should just be totally free / donationware, or whether the “upgrade” for list saving and other eventual features is worth keeping. I am inspired by the interest here and the ethos of #faircamp and @mirlo mostly, and I’m not looking to build a real saas business, just some good tiny tools. Open to opinions here!

In which case, predictable larger grants from a few places might be simpler and more sustainable than an unpredictable income stream made up of many small subscriptions. The platforms Unstream searches stand to benefit from promotion and potential sales, maybe a consortium of those could be formed to financially support your work on this?
