Here is another source that doesn't ask you to sign up to anything.
@ben It's called "Stingray" and just about every law enforcement agency that covers a decently populated jurisdiction has it. If you don't understand that your cell phone is a bugging and tracking device by this point, you're not gonna make it.
@mrsaturday This goes beyond Stingray. I agree that this needs to be understood - but chastising people for not understanding it yet is not going to get us there.
