@ramsey @kboyd @grmpyprogrammer Yeah, Mastodon notification delivery on mobile is pretty bad and I have a theory on why that is (polling for notifications rather than using proper push via e.g. FCM) but it still makes it unusable for things where mobile notifications need to be realtime-ish.
