Class, if you're still using any Meta product: Facebook, Instagram, etc, you are providing them revenue *just by being there & opening your feed.* Every eyeball is counted as ad revenue, every post, and gods forbid you buy anything from their marketplace or pay them to (badly) advertise your event or org.

GET OFF META!
YOU ARE FUNDING THE COUP!

Ditto for twitter, google, and amazon.

ZUCK BUCKS
How much money do Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, Pinterest, and Snapchat make from you?
Most social media platforms squeeze a few bucks a month out of users — Meta’s ability to monetize your scrolling is on a completely different level.
David Crowther, 8/8/25

ChartR graph showing Meta makes far and away more revenue off it's users, at $26.73 a month, compared to Snap, Reddit, and another competitor, which all make less than $3 a month.

"Put another way, Meta is making more money from you than Netflix charges for its most expensive tier ($24.99).

Of course, Meta does have both Facebook and Instagram to monetize your eyeballs, but even if we split the figure in half, it’s miles ahead of its peers."
