#PeerTube is the community-owned Fediverse alternative to YouTube.

You can help PeerTube grow by going to https://fedi.video and watching some videos, this lets the video makers know they have an audience 🙂

Even better, you can follow video makers from Mastodon:

1. Click the video maker's name on Fedi.Video to go to their profile page
2. Click on ⧉ on the profile page
3. Paste into the search box in Mastodon, then click follow

This lets video makers know they have followers.

PeerTube is totally different on different servers. I've tried to make fedi.video as welcoming as possible.

@FediTips I would only watch videos to learn. But besides that I'm learner by reading, I'm no native English speaker and understanding is extremly hard. More so with some Americans that sound as if they have some cloth in the mouth.
But I love to learn.
So please speak slowly and clearly #PeerTube #tutorial #video
(That's the reason why I can't learn much in modern times - nobody WRITES.)

p.s. You can also do this on other PeerTube sites. The reason I'm mentioning https://fedi.video in particular is because I've tried to make it as safe and easy as possible for new people by manually curating every account, and trying to list as many high quality accounts as I can.

If you want a wider and less filtered view of PeerTube, you can use the official search engine at https://sepiasearch.org (but that will be less safe and lower quality as it's not manually curated).
