Anybody got any advice for managing a family (wife; no kids; two cats) through something like NextCloud?

Or an alternative option?

NextCloud makes me nervous because I self-host in my home office and if it goes down while both my wife and I are together travelling and we can't access what we need...she will be very upset and never use anything self hosted again.
