Hi Friends. I am interested in switching out of my #spotify subscription. I like their family plan and the platform in general, but I do *not* like the AI slop they're sneaking into my discovery (weekly new music) nor do I appreciate their majority shareholder funding war machinery development.

What are my options to switch for #music? What's the comparable but less-evil choice(s)?

Also appreciate #boosts to help get the input from far and wide.

@josh FWIW there is no economic incentive for Spotify to recommend AI slop over other artists. Spotify pays ~70% of its revenue as royalties to rights holders apportioned based on what people listen to. That percentage doesn't decrease just because someone publishes music created with generative AI.
