Spent Not Thrift Shop (TM) dollars on a(nother) #Nikon FE kit at Goodwill today, but still a fair price. I'll figure out which FE is in better condition, flip the body and at least one of the lenses, and I'll have picked up an 50/1.4 AI-S for free. #AlwaysBeThrifting

@knapjack I’ve been sucked down a watch vortex. Hopefully it kicks me out of the camera vortex.
What's on the watchlist? ⌚👀
@knapjack As a Nikon FE owner, what do they go for these days?
KEH has one in Excellent condition right now for $238 USD. I paid $100 for mine maybe three years ago off Craigslist with the power winder.
This one was $170 (with my old man discount), and came with three AI Nikkors: a 50/1.4, a 28/3.5, and the much-maligned 43-86 zoom.
If I found an FE in good shape, body-only, for $150 I would be neither happy nor sad. More urban places, I suspect they push more towards the $175-$200 mark. Hard to say.
I sell a lot of gear to KEH. They never give me a good price, but they always give me a fair price. I feel like their purchase prices are similar, typically slightly better than the grade and as a result a pretty fair (and reliable) deal.
