The EU needs to decide how much they want to align with a lawless state that will treat them exactly the way it treats its neighbours, as much as it can possibly get away with.

Do they like random tariffs and having their infrastructure remotely switched off or would they rather not have that happen?

If they value their own sovereignty, then they must value the sovereignty of Venezuela.
