I've posted an essay on 'The Road to Artificial General Intelligence'. It's opinion, and it essentially just summarises a lot of things I've posted here anyway, but it puts them into a single coherent piece.

@simon_brooke interesting piece! Especially to hear from someone who's actually been in "the trenches". Are there any "old ai" projects still around, open source? Using LLMs for NLP to interface with an ontological system seems nice. But the main bit would still be the ontological system then.
