It took a while, but it’s finally finished.
This is, I think, my best piece so far, in terms of workmanship. I can still see a lot of flaws, but I am beginning to really get my head around the subtleties of the structure.
Most of all, I think I have done as well as I can by this venerable, 60 year-old tsumugi silk. Now I have to find a way to set it free into the world.
