First attempt to super charge with Nissan leaf starting at 64%. 32 degrees out. Forgot to turn battery heater on and only charged at 22kw. Ouch. Turned heater on and after 30 minutes seemed to peak at 28kw.

The leaf is supposed to be able to hit 150kw. But no luck this time.

@stefan were you familiar with that charging station? Some of them will just be broken like this sometimes and give a small fraction of their rated output.

@stefan cool, didn’t want to assume 😇 so yea, sadly, there will be times it’s your battery being cold (or just mostly charged - charging is faster the lower the 😖 but it can also be the station being on the fritz.

If you haven’t run across PlugShare (app / website) yet it’s a great community resource for seeing if a given station or specific charger was working ok for other folks recently. https://www.plugshare.com/
