This photo of Tennessee eating isn't anything special. What *is* special is that, for the first time in the over four years we've been together, he's responding to me calling his name.
He spends most of his time in my office now, where he has a nice window seat and where he knows he can come onto my desk to get petting and treats — but when I put fresh wet food out and call to him, he comes!
And today he let me pick him to cuddle him without complaining! That's new, too.
