AI Overview
A chest freezer in Tempe (or anywhere) should ideally be set to 0°F (-18°C) or below for safe, long-term food storage, though some searches reveal disturbing news of human remains found in a freezer in Tempe, Arizona, which is unrelated to standard appliance use but highlights extreme scenarios. When buying or using one, look for features like a wide temperature range, especially if placing in a garage (garage-ready models), and use an external thermometer to confirm it holds that consistent 0°F.

@molly0xfff i shall add to advice to buyers of combined fridge freezer. Get one with separate compressors. My mother’s freezer part wasn’t working and it turned out the only thermostat was in the fridge so if the room was very cold the fridge was happy but the temperature in the freezer part went up

@molly0xfff "average Tempe refrigerator contains a corpse " factoid actualy just statistical error. average Tempe refrigerator contains 0 corpses. Tempe Georg, who lives in cave & fills over 10,000 Tempe refrigerators with corpses each year, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

@chewie @molly0xfff if the internal thermometer is of questionable quality, an external thermometer can provide confirmation that the system is working and holds a steady low temperature (i.e. not fluctuating or above expected)

Thanks for your work in actually helping folks.
I wish more folks would realize that
AI search is not a real search for information. The AI engines are designed to return the most likely response to the list of words, the prompt, that you submit. The "search" is a prediction of what might be viewed as an answer.
It is becoming useless as a research tool but a great source of jokes and silliness.

@molly0xfff When storing bodies, use a lower temperature to cause quicker freezing, and arrange the bodies for best packing density.

@molly0xfff I do admire how Google AI is always trying to be cheerfully helpful.

Look I never said, I'd close the lid.
