I've been doing some tidying up of social media over the break. While I personally love Mastodon as a platform, it seems that usage, especially for #NWSL has dropped off significantly—so many people for *this* content went to Bluesky.
I don't want to be too hasty with winding one down or bridging things, but wonder how I can best address this since I have a small handful of people over here that are wonderful, but maintaining two similar feeds kinda sucks, too.
Feel free to share any thoughts!
A while back I created an @nwsl group in the hope of helping build community here but it's been pretty dead

Yeah, it kind of bums me out too, and bridged content is kind of a bummer as well. I was going to offer a tool people in my group wrote that automatically posts content on both sites (and LinkedIn too) but while free, it’s a bit of a hassle to use and and depends on GitHub

I bridged to bluesky for a while, then added an actual bluesky account to interact with ppl on bluesky that don't have bridging enabled. It's a little confusing for folks but mostly works. Mastodon is still my primary account for everything but woso, so I'm not worried about missing convos here just because I've also added bluesky
