WSL kicks off this weekend (Women's Super League - the English league, probably the second best women's soccer league globally) and the streams so far have been unwatchable at times. This used to be a constant issue in the #NWSL but is much less common now (still annoying when it happens tho!)

When people say "people don't watch women's sports because it's less entertaining" I want to point them to things like this. So many more things affect one's enjoyment of a match than the quality of play.

So, I know it's only been 3 games, and she hasn't actually won any of them, but I feel like Ella Masar needs to be a head coach somewhere.

The biggest difference she has made to the Chicago Stars, is that they're playing fun soccer. This whole season, and probably going back to last season, there was a lack of results. People blamed the management, the injuries, but at the end of the day they were playing boring soccer, and that hurt more than anything.

This team, right now, is exciting.

Two #NWSL games in one weekend was amazing but I've been nursing a sore throat since Monday and boy has 2x the cheering/yelling-at-refs not helped
