Very longstanding issue, but something that has been worsened by current #USpol and rising #ClimateChange:
If you want to alert people, but leave disabled people out by not providing alt text & image description, by not providing accurate captions (or captions at all), it is speaking VOLUMES about who you think "deserves" to survive an extreme event.
Do your utmost to be accessible.
