Hey folks - after seven months of chasing, I've run out of options in trying to resolve a customer service issue with #BritishAirways, and I've decided to really escalate it. Does anyone out there know #SeanDoyle, CEO of BA, and if so, could you make an introduction? Thank you!

@pluralistic over the summer we had a flight cancelled (London —> Boston) and they wanted to rebook us through Porto on TAP, even though we found direct seats from Heathrow on Virgin. We bought the tickets and customer service denied compensation. We threatened to litigate and they folded.

I had an ongoing issue with virgin some years back that they refused to engage with . I opened a case and then all of a sudden they woke up and dealt with it.
@pluralistic Context: a UK friend had an issue with BA and he was well connected (ex-SVP at two MNCs). Couldn’t get anywhere trying to get to BA management and sued, and won. Please keep this at the back of your mind in case this doesn’t work the way you plan.

@pluralistic Just look up the address of the head office, address a letter to the CEO with your complaint, and send it by FedEX. That gets opened first, ahead of any other form of message. I've done this with multiple corporations, and it has worked every time.
