There it is: The new C64 Ultimate. I'm pretty impressed by the build quality, everything feels solid and like a premium thingy, even has a nice weight to it. Much attention was put into details. What I don't like is that you can't swap disks via a shortcut or button press, but have to go into the menu every time. When watching demos, that really is a bit annoying. Especially since the 1541U carts with a real C64 can do it better. So ... that's a pity. But other than that: loads from tape just fine, runs everything C64 related I threw at it, has stereo SID support and if I wanted, I could add two real SIDs just for fun. Might do that at some point.
