Besides the fact that it was created by a nonBlack transfem, and Nothing About Us Without Us, Period
But also the term "emasculation" is a term used by Black male anti-feminists for decades as an anti-Black feminism dogwhistle, to the point that I can't even see the word "emasculation" without shuddering tbh
And the issues that Black transmasculine people face is not "emasculation" but annihilation, which neither the term nor its creator ever spends any time grappling with at any point in any of their work, and that makes her scholarship useless in general for those of us primarily concerned with the Black trans experience and how to undo the coloniality of gender
