#BloomScrolling - A swamp gentian (Gentiana douglasiana) photographed this summer on Vancouver Island, BC.

A beautiful flower to cheer up those of us on the West coast of Canada and US affected by the atmospheric river. This plant is common in coastal British Columbia, North to South East Alaska and Washington State.

Little white flowers and green vegetation. Here's a better description found on Alaska.org: ''The 2-8" branching stems arise from a few egg-shaped to elliptical leaves that form a rosette at the base. The white flowers have 5 petals, purplish spots or streaks and are often tinged with blue underneath and open up in bright sun.''
