@unusual_whales I just had this very conversation with a friend today. His girlfriend was laid off, and said she has sent 100s of applications to no avail. She had a phone interview set up for a specified time that came and went. 2 hours later she received an email saying that the job opening had been pulled but they would keep her resume on file if a new position opened
