What would you say if I told you I’m HIV+?
I mean, I’m not, but I wonder what prejudices or concerns we hold onto when someone tells you they’re HIV+.
PrEP protects anyone (especially at-risk groups such as men who have sex with men) from contracting HIV, and can be taken ‘event-based’ or daily.
Or: properly treated, someone who has HIV can be ‘U=U’; ‘undetectable = untransmissable’. They can’t pass it on.
