@sortius exactly. An hour or two on the (brand new then!) train from Brisbane, a day’s drive from Sydney
@jpm I suppose it's proximity. A bit far to drive from VIC to the GC. Was a leisurely 10hr drive from Newcastle when I was 18; would have been 2 days from VIC
