A privacy organisation asking for personal data?
Hmmmmmmmmmmm… 🤔
@light @openrightsgroup We have to build relationships with people that support us. To do that effectively we ask people to join email lists and follow social media, etc. All this involves personal data.
Note, we do not ask for addresses (which the winner will need) nor do we even insist that people opt in, which most equivalent actions you see do (give us your email for a download etc).
I think this is about as ethical an approach as is possible tbh. But if you can see improvements do say.
