now it has them (i think) fucking with the probabilities to hook in gamblers and in addition to ostensible gambling i believe pokemon does this too at several levels
the thing about this show is that in addition to the wildly beautiful animation it also has a politics i find to be very explicit and unique. i think people describe star trek like this to some degree although dirty pair is also for example deeply anti-cop although unfortunately the first episode of this series somewhat undermined that
the scene where they get on the bus and the entire bus starts throwing eggs at the cops was incredible
